It’s a simple question but it’s one that everyone I ask will come up with a reason why they haven’t got an MLM business coach and they why don’t need one.
As a former track athlete I know the benefit of having a coach. I applied the same theory to my Network Marketing business as I did to athletics.
It is so much easier to succeed if you are having guidance from an expert.
In sporting fields it is easy to find coaches. Their record is normally well published but in the business world of MLM & Network Marketing it can be a daunting process.
I was lucky. Early on in my journey I found a training system that was complete.
It was a graduated training platform that enabled me to develop the skills and knowledge I was lacking while still building my business.
The fundamentals of Network Marketing and MLM are very simple.
You need to tell your story to enough people on a daily basis so that you can make enough sales to build a strong team.
How you go about that process will determine the level of success you have.
You can do it alone or you can get yourself a coach.
The sad part of this business is that statistically 90% of people quit before the 90 day period is up.
That is a huge turnover.
I looked at the reasons why and the common thread was this.
Most people who are starting out in Network Marketing and MLM don’t know how to drive enough qualified traffic to their site in order to make enough sales to stay.
Let’s face it if you are getting a check every month then you will tend to stick around.
I am fortunate in that I have teamed up with some of the industries ‘heavy hitters’ and the system that we use works.
Of course it is relative to the effort that I put in.
This was another reason I found why people quit.
They have been told they can make $10,000 a month.
Well that is probably true……. if you know what you are doing……… you have a huge list……… and you have made that sort of money before.
If you haven’t either of those attributes just listed then you will need to acquire the skills of tenacity, hard work, persistence and be prepared to invest your time.
My first MLM mentor told me to ‘plan to be here in 12 months”. I did and I was. Thanks Nate!
